Status Alive

Gentaro Yoshida is a former resident of both Britannia & Haumea Kingdoms respectfully. He's the older brother of Hanataro Yoshida who is a half-angel with powers. He was born as a Haumean resident but when Britannia invaded Haumea, he became the sex slave to Second Prince Daisuke Da Britannia. His personality before he was taken in by the prince was a relatively nice one. However, he may retain that kindness about him, he has become a distrusting individual with a foul mouth having to deal with the Second Prince's antics on a daily basis. As of recent, he was allow to leave the Britannia Kingdom and to live a life of his own. He felt he no longer had a place in his former home so he left to live on Earth in Tokyo, Japan where he decided to attend college at Ashford Private Boys University.

Personality[]

Gentaro was a fairly smart young man when he attended school but his intelligence didn't surpass that of his classmates that scored higher than him on assignments and tests, making him feel quite inadequate at times but he passed his classes on his own merit despite that. Gentaro has always desire to go to finish his school and attend college but found that rather difficult living in the Britannian Palace as a slave to Prince Daisuke who always had to follow orders and therefore anyone who wasn't a native Britannian couldn't learn anything past the level of high school. Which annoyed Gentaro greatly since he had a lot of things he liked doing. Cooking wasn't something he favored but he knew how to do it being that he took care of his sickly mother and helped to take care of his younger brother as well. What Gentaro liked doing most was drawing since he'd always wanted to make his own comic books and had a lot of ideas for stories based around characters he created. However, he lost his thrill for this when he believed his life was taken from him due to a misunderstanding. He'd like very much to get back into it and it's a side of himself that not even Daisuke knows about.

It's pretty clear that Gentaro also enjoys reading too given that he had comic books as a child and always wanted to make one of his own. However, due to the Britannian Palace having an extensive library, he's read many different books of many different genres. It helps him to keep his mind occupied and to keep him from thinking about things he doesn't want on his mind all the time. As a person, Gentaro is nice once you get to now him but there is a lot of things he just won't tolerate when it comes to people, like obvious stupidity which he had to deal with being around Daisuke all the time. It's frustrating for him to deal with someone who's obviously smarter than they really let on but he can't do anything to change them. He can virtually get along with anyone that isn't trying to hold him hostage or hit on him. He will speak his mind though and isn't above telling someone about themselves if they are showing out.

Gentaro has a lot of trust issues when it comes to meeting new people. This stems from him being held captive by Daisuke since he was a teenager. It's not that he can't trust people at all but rather, living around the Royal Family keeps him more alert than anything for everyone, including soldiers part of the military have an ulterior motive for "attempting" to be social as he sees it. Nothing is without something needed in return for it. He's not against the idea of making friends with others since he has made friends with another servant of Daisuke's named Satoshi but he really dislikes it when he's hitting on him and trying to feel him up. The topic of "love" isn't something Gentaro cares for talking about for he wasn't given that chance to love anybody when his innocence was robbed from him by Daisuke. As such, he doesn't "feel" anything for anyone romantically that he comes into contact with. He's also unsure of what he feels for the prince. Other than sheer annoyance and disgust, it doesn't really go beyond that.

His sexual experiences with the man has also caused him to develop a weak stomach for he's prone to throwing up at random times whether he wants to or not. He is unable to control his stomach when this happens. There have been times that he has wished death upon himself but he knows if he did, his family wouldn't survive so he stays strong for them. No matter how much he may feel hatred towards Daisuke for robbing him of his life, which he tells him on many occasions, he's not stupid enough to do anything to the man without the Royal Family trying to kill him for it. So he settles for calling him out on anything he does and verbally voices his opinion about how he feels a lot, while knowing he should remain silent but chooses not to. As such, he's developed a bit of a foul mouth which contrasts with his kind nature which he displays towards those he feels do not mean him any harm and aren't attempting to use him for their own purposes.

Appearance[]

Gentaro is 5'10 with short neck-length spiky dark brown hair with side bangs that cover his left brow and faded blue eyes. He has a peach skin complexion along with a small muscular build but nothing with bulging muscles and all that, a slanted face, a square shaped chin small eyes that appear narrowed all the time. He works at Pizza Hut as a server and cashier so his work attire consists of long black pants, blacks sneakers, a burgundy and black vest and a white short-sleeved shirt. When he's not working, Gentaro wears casual clothing like t-shirts, jeans, shorts, and sneakers.

History[]

Early Life[]

Gentaro Yoshida was born within the Haumea Kingdom in Namaka City which had been renamed to "Areal 11" after Britannia had invaded it. His parents were Aria and Hiroshi Yoshida and he is the older brother of Hanataro Yoshida. Aria was a citizen of Haumea who wasn't born with powers but had met a man from another kingdom, the Tian Kingdom which was also known as the Kingdom of Angels. Sort of like Crystal Tokyo's version of Heaven. Angels from Tian weren't allowed to travel or mate outside of their own people but Hiroshi was the only one that didn't follow the laws set in place for Tian, therefore he had left without permission and migrated to Haumea Kingdom where he'd met Aria Tenma. He fell in love with her at first sight but of course Aria had shown no interest in him, at least not at first. It took a lot to get her to do so and she thought of him as nothing more than a "playboy" because of how flirtatious he was being with her. She was flattered but cautious. After all, no man had never taken much of an interest in her before without just looking to spend the night with her and since she wasn't the type to just sleep with any man, this often left her alone.

Hiroshi was different from a lot of the guys she'd come to know so she gave him a chance and got to know him. He didn't talk much about where he was from but she could tell that he wasn't native to Haumea. He didn't act or speak like he was but she found him to be a rather interesting person to talk to. She eventually did fall in love with him and the two got married. All seemed serene. They had two children together and their lives were so peaceful. Both were boys named Gentaro, the oldest and Hantaro, the youngest. Given that Aria was a woman who had no powers of her own, it came as a surprise to her that Hanataro had developed powers at such a young age. That and she also never saw Hiroshi use any powers himself but she had seen him fight before. As concerning as it was, she still loved her son and hoped that because Gentaro didn't develop any, he wouldn't become resentful towards his brother. Gentaro didn't though. Like all brothers, he argued with his younger brother who would get on his nerves sometimes by just being annoying but he didn't hate him. For he knew there were a lot of families who had children and not all of them had powers so he wasn't resentful in the slightest about it. And Hanataro wasn't abusing them so he had no real opinion about them except for wanting his brother to be careful.

Aria felt the same way in regards to Hanataro's powers but was just glad her sons got along with each other. Their peaceful life soon ended when Britannia's Emperor had invaded Haumea, destroying countless lives, killing many innocent people. Aria and Hiroshi did everything they could to keep their children from being harm during the invasion and luckily for them, they were spared but like every Haumean that remained alive, they were stripped of their name and reduced to being called "Elevens". Haumea Kingdom was no more for its rulers had been uprooted from the throne, killed in the midst of battle and their daughter, the heir to the Haumea Kingdom was no where to be found. Haumea had become part of Britannia and many of the Haumeans were forced to work jobs they hated or work for the Royal Family while being treated like crap in the process. The Angels of Tian Kingdom got wind of what'd happened to Haumea and was disappointed to hear that one of their own had left the Tian to be with a woman from another kingdom. He'd disobeyed the laws of Tian and though the rulers of the kingdom didn't give much say or thought to Aria and her sons, they demanded of Hiroshi to return with them and leave the family he had. Aria pleaded with Hiroshi not to go for she wouldn't be able to survive without him but there wasn't anything he could do. As much as he would like to stay, it would only cause her and their sons to be subjected to punishment by his home and he didn't want that.

He apologized for keeping where he'd come from, from her but he did it so they wouldn't find him because of the simple fact that he enjoyed his life with Aria and wanted to remain as a family with her but he could not. He told his sons to take care of their mother for he had to go now and they would probably never see him again. Aria was never the same when Hiroshi left. She was depressed and eventually fell ill with a terminal virus that was attacking her body, making her unable to perform simple tasks around the small home they did manage to have together. Eventually, she was rendered being unable to move, making a lot of the work being placed upon Gentaro who was only fourteen years old at the time. Haumeans were still allowed to go to school but weren't allowed to go beyond high school level. It was only Britannians that were allowed to go to college after high school which while unfair, there was't anything that could be done. Haumea was Britannia now and their rule was absolute. Gentaro wanted to leave "Britannia" and worked hard in order to at least attempt to achieve it. Escaping was automatic an automatic death sentence so he worked in order to help himself and his family to gain entrance to another kingdom in order to live. His mother was getting sicker and sicker and no amount of regular medicine was going to make her better.

Gentaro worked odd jobs in order to keep food on the table and be able to get medicine for his mother to ease her pain if only for a little while. When he was able, he did attend school. He wasn't academically intelligent like his peers but he passed his classes with decent grades. He had a liking for art and would often hide away by himself somewhere on campus, usually the library and would draw anything that came to mind for him, usually in regards to how he was feeling. He loved reading, specifically comics and other graphic novels and desired that maybe someday he could make amazing art like that. He was pretty good at drawing but never showed anyone anything he worked on. A Britannian classmate of his got spiteful one day and took something that Gentaro was working on just to give him grief. His reasoning behind it was because the boy was nothing more than an Eleven to him and he wasn't showing respect to those who are superior to him. So he ripped up the picture Gentaro had worked so hard on into pieces. Normally it wasn't in him to argue with anyone, let alone fight but he was so sick and tired of being put down and already had enough on his plate to deal with and socked the guy in his face.

Luckily he wasn't expelled which is what his classmate's parents wanted but he was suspended for a week while being forced to write an apology letter to him. Gentaro honestly believed an apology letter wouldn't make that guy any less of a dick but he did as he was told and wrote it. Since he was suspended from school, he used that week to work to earn a little extra money. Hanataro did his best to help out by using his healing abilities on his mother but given he was young and inexperienced in using them, he was unable to completely heal her from the pain she suffered on a daily basis. At the age of seventeen is when Gentaro's life was suddenly taken from him. He was leaving from work when a group of Elevens that formed a group as a resistance against Britannian's tyranny, had gotten him caught up into something he wasn't involved in. He tried to take a faster shortcut home through the Namaka Settlement but a fight had broken out in the surrounding area between Elevens and Britannians. He was mistaken for one of them and was taken into custody where he was scheduled to be executed the next day. Gentaro really thought this was going to be the end for him, that his mother and brother would truly be lost without him around to help them out. He knew he was innocent but no matter how much he tried to tell the soldiers that, they didn't believe him.

Life w/Prince Daisuke[]

His life was spared, however, thanks to Second Prince Daisuke Da Britannia of the Royal Family who ordered the guards to release him and have him sent to his chambers. Gentaro hadn't expected to meet anyone from the Royal Family but he would try to convince the man that he was innocent and possibly let him go back to his family. They needed him and had to get back to them as soon as possible. Though he was curious as well as suspicious as to why the Second Prince had him released instead of executed. At first, he led him to believe he was nice but he eventually showed his true colors to him. He had offered the boy a job to work for him in the palace, room and board free, a reasonable wage and everything. It seemed ... too good to be true for Gentaro. As much as he knew he needed the money, he simply couldn't. It wasn't his to take and he just got an unsettling vibe from the man that didn't sit well with him. He declined the offer and asked if he could go home to his family. Without him, they wouldn't survive. Plus he told him he already had a job. It wasn't ideal but it was enough. He wasn't trying to rebel against the kingdom, he was only trying to go home and the rebels just took the same shortcut he did in order to hide out from being caught. That's all he knew.

This was not unfortunately what Daisuke wanted to hear. He had his own plans for the boy and since it didn't involve releasing him anytime soon. At least not back to where he came from anyway. He told the boy no that he wasn't going back to his family. If he were to let him go, he would just be killed. Plus the wages would give him the means in order to provide for his sickly mother and younger brother. Gentaro still told the man no. His place was with his family, not stuck being forced as a palace lapdog for the Royal Family. This struck a cord with Daisuke who was not pleased by the boy's tone one bit and struck him for his insolence. He then grabbed him, tossed him on his bed and forced himself onto him while screaming and pleading for the man to stop. Being raped by the second prince was a horrific experience for Gentaro, it would be for anyone but it was more humiliating that after that night, he'd been forced to be that man's sex slave for as long as he was in his "possession" so to speak. His life was truly taken for him or this is how he felt anyway. His first sexual experience was with a man and it'd turned him completely away from the idea of "love". The man was always rough with him whenever he was in one of his moods but every now and then he would be gentle with him.

All the while, he found it to be nothing more than disgusting and having to put up with Daisuke's bizarre moments of stupidity every now and then frustrated him to no end. The man did keep his word that his family would be taken care of but he wasn't allowed to go and see them. Gentaro spent the next seven years of his life living with Daisuke as his servant and sex slave. By then, the war between the Elevens and Britannians had ended and while they were reluctant, Haumea was made its own kingdom again with new rulers and an heir to it. To Gentaro's knowledge, his mother and brother were returned to their homeland but he remained in Britannia where he didn't want to be. He wanted to go back to them for he'd had enough of the life he was living. In fact, it wasn't much of one. He felt so useless and was often depressed so to cover up this fact, he would always snap at anyone he came into contact with, that included other royal members of the family. The only one that didn't threaten his life for it was Daisuke's sister Rainbow. She seemed amused by Gentaro's honesty and it was nice that her brother had someone around him who was honest, even if he was her brother's personal slave and servant.

Gentaro didn't really have any friends, not that he had any before he was forced where he is now but Daisuke did have another servant boy that to Gentaro's knowledge, he didn't sleep with but he was overly flirtatious and constantly hit on him ALL the time. It creeped him out and many a time he would tell him to stop but he'd continue to jokingly pester him. The boy's name was Satoshi and he did seem to genuinely care for Gentaro's well being and would often scold the prince for how he treated him. Threatening to take him away if he didn't treat him better. Albeit in a joking manner of course since he was always cheerful whenever he was around them. Gentaro appreciated Satoshi's friendship but he wasn't into him like that. That ideal of romantic emotion ... he didn't believe it existed inside of him so it comes as no surprise that he doesn't open up to others so easily. It's also why he never responded whenever Daisuke attempted to be nice or gentle with him for he always believed there was an ulterior motive behind it. That and he was just bothered by the idea of sexual contact with anyone and embarrassed as his own body, always feeling disgusting. He's openly said that more than once and other times he's kept it to himself. Regardless, Gentaro desired to have a sense of normalcy back into his life and he didn't know what that felt like anymore.

Satoshi could see this and decided to do something nice for Gentaro. He decided to look into the matter involving his mother and younger brother Hanataro. Discovering the information he'd given it to Gentaro and he found out that his mother was no longer living. She'd finally succumb to her illness and was buried in one of the Haumean cemeteries. His brother had left Humea Kingdom and went to live on Earth once their mother had died. All he could feel was just sadness that he wasn't there for the two of them. At least ... his mother wasn't in any pain anymore but this left him without a reason to worry anymore. Granted he still wondered if Hanataro was alright since he wasn't accustomed to taking care of himself but if he managed to go to Earth on his own then he wasn't entirely hopeless. But he was glad his brother was alive but wanted to see him and yet he couldn't. Things had begun to stir within Britannia as it seemed like the Emperor was getting ready to wage war against another "enemy". Again, not caring much for politics, he didn't care. What good would it do him to complain about something he has no place in speaking in, no matter how idiotic he did find the constant war to be.

Release & Life on Earth[]

By then Daisuke had decided to release Gentaro from what the young man had always felt to be "imprisonment". It was hard for him to believe at first but since he didn't stop him from leaving, he took him at his word that he was finally letting him go for good. As curious as he was behind the reasoning for it, he was just glad to be let go. He figured the man finally grew tired of him being so outspoken like he was and decided to just wash his hands of him. Good. It gave him a reason to go look for his brother on Earth, specifically present day Tokyo, Japan. It was so much different than living in the Britannia Kingdom. There wasn't any war going on, people seemed happy and friendly towards each other. Gentaro began to see why his brother came here. Of course, according to Satoshi before he left the Royal Family did have siblings who left Britannia and migrated there to build a more peaceful life and was told to look them up should he ever manage to find them. That would be for another day, he was in a new world and given sort of a second chance to do something with his life now. The interests he once had he decided to do something with them. It wasn't easy learning the Japanese language but he did his best in order to take a college entrance exam.

Tokyo had some of the best schools there and decided that going back to school and working was what he was going to do. He did eventually find Hanataro and he'd managed to pass the entrance exam to a prestigious academy for others his age. Gentaro was proud of him and happy to see him too. He promised that once he got himself settled, if Hanataro wanted to he could come live with him. Suffice to say his brother was shocked to see him but glad he was already too. Both brothers were reunited. Since he only had work experience where he came from, he wasn't able to use those places as references so he had to lie on many applications that he had no job experience despite that being untrue until he finally landed himself a job. Pizza Hut hired him and he'd finally heard back from the schools he applied to. He did try to apply to Todai University but once he failed the entrance exam, he knew that was a lost cause. Luckily, it seems that another school was willing to accept him. It was an all boys school but it was a start somewhere towards a future goal. Gentaro decided to get back into drawing and is taking classes at Ashford Private Boys University in order to help him achieve that dream he had of maybe making his own comic someday. He really didn't think he'd get to have a normal life again but it's finally happening. No more does he have to worry about looking over his shoulder and worrying. He can focus on himself and his brother. For now, he is content with his new life that he is starting to settle into.

Relationships[]

Daisuke Da Britannia[]

Gentaro for many years hated Daisuke because of the simple fact that he only wanted to use him as his sex slave. He never liked what the man did to him and always complained about wanting to leave because he grew tired of the man using him for sex as well as having to put up with his idiotic antics. He honestly found him to be a frustrating individual. Even when the Prince attempted to be nice to him, Gentaro still kept himself emotionally distant from him. At times he would try to be nice in return but only to regret it in the end. His feelings for him are naturally indifferent. He feels he is incapable of finding real love, having been around Daisuke for so long. Therefore, this has caused him to be put off by the idea of being in a relationship or just feels completely uninterested in the idea. Currently, he is unaware of the fact that Daisuke is in love with him despite how badly he's treated Gentaro for as long as he'd held him captive.

Satoshi[]

Satoshi is a homosexual servant boy of Daisuke's that's worked for him for many years. He has treated Satoshi in the same fashion as Gentaro but he doesn't sleep with him. In fact, when Gentaro was always frustrated with him, Satoshi would take over and handle the Prince since he was used to how he acted even before Gentaro became his personal live in sex slave. Naturally, Satoshi didn't approve of that idea and knowing that after such an ordeal, Gentaro would need a friend to confide in. So he took it upon himself to be his friend. Of course, he also found Gentaro to be attractive himself and would oftentimes flirt with him much to the other's dislike of it. But he knew when to stop and be serious enough to give Gentaro good advice whenever he felt down and needed to talk. He also does the same with Daisuke who had a tendency to get depressed when he wasn't around Gentaro. It was then Satoshi came to the conclusion that Daisuke was in love with him and didn't know how to admit it. He kept this from Gentaro because he wanted him to figure it out on his own that the Prince was in love with him. But he never did before he left to live on Earth where his brother was present. The last thing he did for him was find out the location of where his brother was and gave that information to Gentaro. Part of him wishes he hadn't left but he knew that he couldn't be forced to stay and needed to take that opportunity to leave while it was given to him. For that, Satoshi isn't mad and wished him the best of luck.

Trivia[]

  • This rebooted version of Gentaro shows that he actually used to be an avid fan of art, constantly drawing and wanting to maybe make his own comic book someday. Thus the reason behind him attending school in Japan in order to work towards that. His former version had no plans for his life and was entirely submissive to Daisuke. Which is a bigger change between the two.
  • Gentaro also doesn't have a son and always disliked having to satisfy the Prince whenever he was in the mood. He remained a kind individual but developed a foul mouth in the process because of how frustrating dealing with Daisuke could be. That said, he isn't as submissive as his former version and speaks his mind a lot more than he used to without being afraid to do it.
  • It is unknown whether or not Gentaro will find someone to fall in love with or he will try and reconcile things with Daisuke. He never showed any signs of having feelings for the man so it is uncertain of how he'll respond to a love confession from him.
  • Gentaro was born without powers still while his brother Hanataro does retain his powers. As they are both residents of Crystal Tokyo, their life spans are also different from that of an individual who lives on Earth. Used from the Sailor Moon Crystal series, residents living in the Planet Kingdoms are evolved superhuman individuals with longer live spans. They appear young but could be hundred to a thousand years of age. This is why Gentaro appears to look like someone in their early twenties but in fact isn't. Because he now lives on Earth, he will start to age because Earth and Crystal Tokyo are completely different and therefore doesn't possess the same capabilities to grant Earth residents longer life spans. They are born, they age, and they die.
